Welcome to Genesis Volleyball Academy!

We are so excited to embark on our third season as a club and explore new heights pertaining to volleyball, service, and fellowship. With a slew of new coaches and several new faces on our rosters we look forward to the opportunity to expand the reach of good volleyball and good news.

For those who are new, here’s a bit about our mission and mantra —

• We want to grow the level of volleyball in the Northwest corner of Missouri
• We aim to improve athleticism and game IQ, not just volleyball skills
• We strive to create a service-hearted community of young ladies
• Ultimately, we want people to know the love of Christ by the way we love each other

Genesis Volleyball Academy has christian roots (obvious.. I’m sure) and biblical principles that run throughout the core of the program. While we don’t expect every coach, athlete and their families to agree with every aspect of our personal theology, we hope that you fully understand that we plan to love you and your children like God loves each of us! That is easier said than done and we will fall short (Romans 3:23) but it is our goal to exhibit that love (Colossians 3:12-14).

What does that look like in application? It does not mean that every practice will start and end with a bible study or that it is required that every team pray before every tournament. But it does mean that our organization will exhibit superior sportsmanship, excellent work ethic, a high level of respect for ourselves and others and we will strive for selflessness at every turn.

These core values are what this organization is founded on and what we intend to permeate through each individual that makes their way through.
