Miranda + Peyton
The Mizera's created GVA in November of 2021 with the intent to grow the level of volleyball in the area. Starting with just one team and 9 players in their inaugural season, the club has grown to 7 teams with over 60 players from surrounding towns converging in Maryville, MO to learn, grow and compete!
Rachel
Rachel is the head coach of the 18's team. From Rockport, MO, she offers experience in a multitude of sports despite it being her first season with GVA. We are thankful for her heart for coaching and mentoring young ladies.
Haylee
Haylee is joining us for her first season with GVA as an assistant coach for the 18's team. She brings vitality and competitiveness as well as great energy! She is studying agricultural business at Northwest Missouri State.
Hannah
Hailing from Hermann, MO, Hannah is our 16's head coach this year. She has multiple state volleyball trips under her belt as well as a championship or two in her high school career! She brings knowledge of the game and a poise about her that we love! She is a student at Northwest Missouri State and plans to get married in the summer of 2024.
Malerie
Malerie happens to have a similar background and future aspirations to Hannah and is assisting the 16's team! Her gentle approach to coaching is a blessing to this group of girls and we look forward to watching her grow some young GVA minds!
Abby
For her second season with GVA, Abby is head coaching the 15's team again. Abby is a fun-loving, goofy and kind-hearted woman who brings great energy to her team. She has another year of eligibility and plans to continue to compete at Northwest Missouri State on the volleyball team next fall.
Ella
Miss Ella is a phenom of a setter and brings a unique perspective to the game as she has led her team at Northwest Missouri State through several conference wins and competitive times! She is our 15's assistant coach for two years in a row now.
Kristen
Last season, Kristen assisted our 18's team, and this year she will head our 14-1's team. Wanting a change of pace, she requested this age group for a multitude of reasons - one being the ability to instill the love of the game in these young ladies while they are still in the beginning stages of learning it.
Avery
Avery joins us for the first time this season as an assistant to Kristen. She is a middle blocker for Northwest Missouri State and adds a fierce presence to the teams she is a part of. We look forward to her imparting that intensity to these young athletes.
Allison
Our 14-2's team is led by Allison this season! Commuting from Tarkio, MO we are so appreciative of her years of experience she brings to this program.
Harley
Harley is an easy-going, gal who loves the game of volleyball. She is assisting Allison this season with our second 14's team and is a student at NWMSU.
Joey
Joey has a couple years of coaching experience in the game of volleyball, which she is passionate about. But a fun fact about Joey is that she also happens to be on the soccer team at Northwest! As a multi-sport athlete herself, she adds value in more ways than one in this first season with GVA.
Kaden
Kaden is a youthful coach that offers encouragement and positivity where it's needed most! She is excited for her first season with GVA!
Karsen
A defensive specialist for NWMSU, Karsen brings stability in the basics and foundational aspects of volleyball. She has a heart for the youngest of our girlies this season and will be leading the 12's with joy!
Jordan
This sweet-hearted lady is the perfect pair as an assistant to Karsen and the 12's team. This is her first season with GVA and she is ready to grow in her coaching experience and develop a strong coaching philosophy.
